We are pleased to announce the grand opening of the Sudanese School in Islamabad, coinciding with the inauguration of the Arabic Language Center affiliated with the school. The ceremony took place on Sunday, January 14, 2024, and was graced by the honorable presence of:
- His Excellency Saleh Muhammad Ahmad, the Ambassador of Sudan to Pakistan.
- Brigadier Al-Dai, Military Attaché.
- Brigadier Dr. Noor Al-Din, Technical Attaché.
- Mr. Amjad, Consul at the Embassy.
- Mr. Othman Saad Al-Din, Chairman of the Sudanese Community Council.
- Dr. Bashir Bahr, Chairman of the Educational Council.
- Dr. Abdul Hamid Abdul Rahman, Director of the Sudanese School.
- Members of the Community Council, teachers (both new and returning), parents, students, and friends of the school from various nationalities.
The event featured a variety of segments symbolizing a fresh start to revive the mission of the school. The ceremony began with the ambassador’s ribbon-cutting, officially marking the reopening of the school’s doors. This was followed by a tour led by the school director, introducing the new facilities, modern furniture, and classroom arrangements. The director also explained the extensive efforts undertaken to rebuild and re-establish the school.
